The morning of April 27, the provincial CPPCC Chairman Tang Liangzhi came to the laboratory and carried out a targeted research with a particular focus on "constructing tea science state key laboratories and accelerating the development of tea science and technology, culture and industry". Tang Liangzhi and laboratory researchers carried out in-depth communication to have a detailed understanding of laboratory construction and operation, scientific and technological R&D and the transformation of results. After listening to the report of Prof. Wan Xiaochun, director of the laboratory, Tang Liangzhi fully affirmed the achievements of the laboratory in recent years and encouraged everyone to adhere to the goal of "based in Anhui, serving the whole country and influencing the world", continue to play the strengths of scientific research and platform, strive to break through the major common and key technological bottlenecks, and better promote the transformation of innovative achievements so that a leaf can really bring wealth to the people.

At the research symposium, Tang Liangzhi listened to the suggestions and views of experts, enterprises and relevant departments. He stressed that tea industry carries the important task of meeting healthy consumption, keeping stable expansion of employment, serving to rural revitalization. In addition, he also emphasized that our province has a good foundation and superior conditions for the vigorous development of the tea industry. Therefore, we must make plans in a science-based manner, adhere to the comprehensive and systematic development thinking, clear revitalization path, set goals and tasks, and refine the implementation of initiatives. Also, we must strengthen the leadership of science and technology, improve the scientific research system, accelerate research and development innovation and application of results, and improve science and technology in all aspects of tea planting and production. We must strengthen the brand support, build the "Hui tea" public brand, refine and excavate the historical and cultural value of Hui tea, and enhance the influence and competitiveness of Hui tea. We must win with quality, promote the tea tree species and make tea garden more ecological, and improve product quality and safety traceability system, thus enhancing tea quality through standardization. We must consolidate market entities, cultivate key tea enterprises, support competitive tea companies to achieve regional mergers and acquisitions and integrate their resources so as to promote the intensification of the industry and develop it in a large-scale way. We must enhance the production of tea in a mechanical way, clear the mechanical needs of tea and make lists of research and production so that we can enlarge the R&D, promotion and application of tea machinery.
