On August 1^st, the laboratory "2023 young teachers and postdoctoral research work report" was held in the B238 conference room of the Biotechnology Building. More than 150 people, including Professor Xiaochun Wan, director of the laboratory, Ms Hongping Tang, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Tea and Food Science & Technology, leaders of research teams (PI), all laboratory members and graduate students, participated in the meeting online and onsite. Mr Guangjin Liu, full-time deputy directors of the laboratory, Professor Zhaoliang Zhang and Professor Chuankui Song, presided over the meeting, rspectively.

A total of thirty one young teachers and postdocs reported their achievements in teaching, scientific research and social services during the past year. The experts at the meeting made comments and guidance on the content of the individual report, and put forward suggestions on the follow-up work.

Ms Hongping Tang highly praised the achievements of the laboratory last year. She hoped that teachers will attach importance to words and deeds, be strict to work discipline, pay attention to student training and daily management, and help to build the Laboratory to a high level.

Professor Tao Xia pointed out that the scientific research ability of young teachers has been rapidly improved, and the quantity and quality of scientific research results have been significantly enhanced. He put forward requirements in terms of focusing on industrial services, strengthening team collaboration, and improving the quality of research.

Finally, Professor Xiaochun Wan pointed out in his concluding speech that the laboratory has made great progress in scientific research, service industry and achievements transformation. He also pointed out that we should focus on the research direction and combine our own advantages to find the breakthrough point. He said that it is necessary to strengthen teamwork and pay attention to the cooperation between different research teams, it is necessary to optimize the research team and strengthen the recruitment of talents in necessary fields, it is necessary to be better service the tea industry in our province and the whole country with the goal of "base on Anhui, service the country and influence the world".
